All students on-campus qualify to use NIU Health Service even if they are not covered by insurance or NIU's Student Insurance.

As a Student ...

Health Service "Clinic" Hours:
8:00 am -4:30 pm: Monday-Friday
9:00 am -1:00 pm: Saturday

*Health services doesn't pay for care received elsewhere.

A large part of remaining safe on campus now a days involves students learning to use technology wisely. Unfortunately many students find out the hard way about cyber safety because technology is advancing more quickly than information concerning cyber safety. Please talk with your student about safety issues concerning identity theft, meeting with individuals they contact over the internet on sites like FACEBOOK, or MySpace etc. Although these sites are fun there are individuals on these sites who misrepresent themselves.

Judicial Affairs Office: It offers an internal method of handling student disciplinary matters and guarantees due process to all student disciplinary cases. The Judicial Affairs Office coordinates the University judicial system, which provides an opportunity to confront and resolve academic, residential, student conduct, and disciplinary conflicts.
